Welcome to People 4 Pets Texas! We are dedicated to building the public education and resources infrastructure needed to help people be responsible pet guardians. We offer humane education presentations and online behavior support to the Central TX community. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and 100% volunteer run.

Animal Behavior Education and Support

Through our humane education presentations, we aim to give people the knowledge they need to be responsible pet guardians. We offer interesting and informative public education presentations on topics such as dog bite prevention, dog training, animal behavior, and responsible pet guardianship in venues such as k-12 schools, public libraries, and veterinary clinics.

We also offer free online pet behavior consultations.

People 4 Pets Texas is managed by a Board of Directors, who volunteer their time and expertise to help people in Central Texas gain a better understanding of their pets' behavior, to prevent pets from being re-homed, relinquished, lost, or abandoned.

Our Pet Behavior Professionals

Our professional dog trainers have a combined 25 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments and backgrounds, supported by professional certifications and continuing education in canine behavior areas of study.

Executive Director/Certified Professional Dog Trainer

People 4 Pets Founder and Executive Director Leannah Fulmer has been a professional dog trainer since 2004, but found her true calling when she started People 4 Pets in 2022. She is certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Fear Free Pets, and AKC CGC. Her specialties are puppy socialization and cooperative care.

President/Certified Dog Behavior Consultant

Audrey became interested in dog training when her dog Ruby struggled with separation anxiety, and she wanted to learn the best ways to help her. Audrey worked with several local canine professionals, and gained lots of experience with many types of dogs. Most recently, she became a certified dog behavior consultant, through the prestigious International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants! She values teaching both people and dogs how to learn from each other to better their lives together.

Board Member/Professional Dog Trainer

Gabriella’s passion for dog training first sparked when she adopted her dog Floyd. While trying to gain a better understanding of his behavioral hurdles, she knew she wanted to help dogs and their owners through positive training. Gabriella has experience working in dog boarding, shelter environments, and training centers. She has gained an abundance of knowledge in her past 6 years in the dog training industry, and strives to continue her education to provide the best experience for her clients.
