Dog and Puppy Training Classes
Puppy Prime Time (8 - 16 weeks) ENROLLING NOW FOR MAY 18!

In this in-person class that meets once a week for four weeks, puppies age 8 - 16 weeks are gradually exposed to new people, dogs, places, and more, in a way that fosters positive associations, creates calm and confident canines, and does so without increasing risk from disease. 8 - 12 weeks is the prime time in your puppy's life for creating positive associations, and this class helps you make the most of it! Puppies will also learn basic cues such as Sit, Down (lie down), Come When Called, and Shake.
Class size varies, from one to eight puppies.
PLEASE NOTE: Puppies under the age of 16 weeks and/or who haven’t had the full series of Distemper/Parvo vaccines, are required to ride in a dog stroller or wagon (these are provided by us). This is to ensure their protection.
Optional Pawsitive Playtime sessions (indoor puppy playtimes) are an add-on to this class (subject to minimum enrollment of two puppies; strollers NOT required for any age puppies).

Optional add-on Pawsitive Playtime session - $20/session (dependent on 2 or more puppies enrolled)

Canine Social Citizen (16 weeks and up) ENROLLING NOW FOR MAY 18!

In Canine Social Citizen class, you and your dog will work as a team to learn new skills like Happy Hand Targets, Rockin’ Recalls, Wonder Walking, Savvy Settles, and more! (Some people call this “basic obedience”, but we call it FUN! At the end of the six weeks, try the optional AKC Canine Good Citizen test!
PLEASE NOTE: if your dog barks a lot when seeing unfamiliar people or dogs, please contact us about other training options.

Option to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test upon completion of the class. Upon passing the CGC test, receive a ribbon and AKC CGC certificate.
In our fun and affordable, rewards based dog training classes, you will learn about dog behavior, and your dog will learn how to be calm around dogs and people in public, as well as foundation behaviors like Sit, Come, Settle, and Loose Leash Walking!
