Humane Education

Pet guardianship education for the public

Humane Education is the missing piece

Humane education is the core of our mission. When people don't understand the behavior of dogs and cats, their mental and emotional needs, or the mental, ethical and financial commitments needed to have pets, conflict often arises, and frequently ends with animals becoming lost, re-homed, neglected, or abandoned.

Through humane education presentations and humane education materials, we aim to give people the knowledge they need to be responsible pet guardians. We offer interesting and informative public education presentations on topics such as dog bite prevention, dog training, animal behavior, and responsible pet guardianship in venues such as k-12 schools, public libraries, and veterinary clinics.

We need your help to expand our educational programs and provide more educational materials! Your generous support helps us educate the public, improving the lives of pets and people, and preventing pet homelessness.

THANK YOU!
